Shopify allows you to group your products into collections. This make it easier for your customers to find the items by category, within your website.

In order to let SellerChamp add items to existing collections using tags, you'll have to enable the feature in Shopify for the collection to accept all items that have the tag.

How to enable this feature within SellerChamp?

This feature needs to be enabled within your SellerChamp Shopify marketplace default account settings page.

Within your SellerChamp Shopify default account settings page, scroll to the Auto-fetch product category and apply it as tag to the product.

This will now display your Category Display Format options:

Show full path

Item category: DVDs & Movies > DVDs & Blu-ray Discs

Shopify item SellerChamp tag: DVDs & Movies > DVDs & Blu-ray Discs

Show parent name only

Item category: DVDs & Movies > DVDs & Blu-ray Discs

Shopify item SellerChamp tag: DVDs & Movies

Chow child name only

Item category: DVDs & Movies > DVDs & Blu-ray Discs

Shopify item SellerChamp tag: DVDs & Blu-ray Discs

You can also enable the option to Create a collection on Shopify for the product category if missing

NOTE: In order for the tags and collections to be created within SellerChamp and Shopify, the SellerChamp Shopify manifest has to be submitted first.

Rules set within your SellerChamp Shopify default account settings page will only apply to the items that have been added to the manifest and the settings were updated. Anything before the setting was made will not be update. For that please contact SellerChamp Support for further assistance.
